Found my old invite email from Tiny Speck, and some official Glitch videos!

I was searching for completely unrelated stuff in my email and happened to find my alpha (beta?) invite for Glitch, all the way back in 2011! Reading it filled me with nostalgia, so I figured I would post it here in case anyone else wants to revel in nostalgia a bit too. A bonus is that a tutorial video was attached to the email and the YouTube account that hosts it (and a few other videos) still exists!

Here's the invite email:

Your friend Effy Summers has been playing a new online game called Glitch, and they thought you might enjoy it too!

"What is Glitch?", you ask.

Well, Glitch is a web-based massively-multiplayer game which takes place inside the minds of eleven peculiarly imaginative Giants. You choose how to grow and shape the world: building and developing, learning new skills, collaborating or competing with everyone else in one enormous, ever-changing, persistent world. You can read more about it, and watch a trailer, at

Glitch only recently launched, and because Effy Summers (or, as we know them, Lilah Bot) sent you this invite, you're on the fast track to check it out!

This is your shiny new ticket to the wonderful world of Glitch.

Here's a short video tutorial to help you get started:

But, the best way to get started, is to just play. You choose your own adventure here and everything you do can influence the rest of Glitch in unimaginable ways.

We'll see you there!
