  • Is there a line one can stand in to become a tester?

    @Skarlet - that is exactly NOT what's happening here. There are lots of reasons we can't have an open random selection right now, and in fact, I have invested quite a lot of energy to make sure we pick people from the forums or who have engaged us on social media and not just people we know personally, so there's no cliques here. We're adding new people pretty much monthly. Development is slow going which is explained elsewhere so I'm not going to repeat it, and we know it's frustrating. Please do not imply that we're keeping things closed due to any desire to keep anyone out. The whole reason we're doing what we're doing is to bring it back to as many people as possible, or else we would have never gone public with our effort. Further negativity such as what you posted above will be removed from this forum.

    We were just discussing a new random way to let in a new group, since @KaiyonAlatar is going to Dragon*Con again, and I wanted to make sure that the random chance to join wasn't solely restricted to people who were in a geographically or financially desirable position to attend. For people who are willing to demonstrate a little patience and faith, please stay tuned for this news.

    Leftmost Graze: the trees were a little bit sad, but there were still edible bits on them--I Fertilidusted and then the piggies went right to the bubble tree and stripped it down twice. More evidence to indicate player interaction required, maybe?

    Here's all the trophies currently available. When I was in Glitch, I was never able to get the two cubi trophies due to the huge amount of currants it takes to get them...always had other things to spend my currants on. But finally got them here. Currently, music block trophies aren't available yet because not all the blocks are available in game yet.

    We have a couple streets in Ur right now that set off the Rook Attack...sadly though the skills we need to defend Ur aren't available to us yet...

    Finally, I was playing hide and seek with one of the vendors today...these types of things will be adjusted by the QA team at some point.

  • Note Nodes

    For all the , treasure hunt makers ( also poets, writers) - I know there was sometimes a frustration that notes for events were taken and so treasure hunts especially were broken when someone removed a clue.

    My idea is to be able to place in world note nodes, I imagine them to be somewhat customizable to the area they are placed so that if wished they can be disguised (especially for treasure hunt clues) These nodes would allow you to place a clue for example in the node and then it be copied for others to collect, Keeping the original safe so that others will find it.

    Each node would be good for a number of copies then it would degrade like a street asset, Perhaps the nodes could be topped up with paper and Ink (Ink being something craftable made from rook feathers?

    Degraded note nodes would have two options for it to be restored as with home street assets or removed, Old nodes not restored for x time would vanish.

    Perhaps to limit spam you may only place up to eleven nodes, so larger treasure hunts would be possible for groups to arrange, whist still allowing bards to fill Ur with their verse?

    I had an additional thought, we might need a view my nodes option on the map so that we can find them again, which would allow for upkeep or removal as desired. I know by my own experience I forget where I had placed some of my notes *blush*

    We now have reaction buttons - please go forth and lobe/splank with abandon. There is no detriment to clicking any of the buttons (no subtraction of points).
